LEWIS MODEL
The Lewis model shows 3 types of culture:
COMPARING ENGLAND AND COLOMBIA
Each country is different. Gender roles in Europe and South America are differents because of their education and progress as society. At England, women are very important and equal with men. There a woman is the first minister so she has the same functions as Iván Duque in Colombia. There, England, are equal all the people. To get something you have to study and strive for it. Doesn't matter who you are, you have to do things by yourself.
In the other hand, in Colombia exists discrimination to women yet. People sometimes thinks that women are less than men and don't give them the oportunity to prove otherwise.

Sharing experiences with Barranquilla culture
The experience which marks my live is live in Barranquilla.
I'm from Montería and I realize all my childhood there. When I graduate, I have to come to Barranquilla to study at Universidad del Norte.
I have 3 years living here and I'm grateful because of the way that people accepts me in this culture.
People here is so open mind and make you feel close to your home. People is very funny and partying and I like it.
Carnaval de Barranquilla is the best carnival where I've been because of the traditions and dances that are show on it. I really like to live here because of the different activities I can do and I want to continue living the Carnaval.

About me
My name is Jorge Campo. I'm 19 years old and 3 of those who I live in Barranquilla. I love to practice sports and sharing with my friends at parties or going to eat. I can travel around Colombia thanks to my family because they live in different places. My maternal family is from Bogotá and my paternal is from Magdalena but I have family on Medellín, Guajira, Barranquilla and some other countries like Perú and US.
Here in Barranquilla I started living at my father's home in Malambo when I was 16 years old but then I prefer to live alone at 17 because it's better to me as a student and as a teenager. It was difficult to make the choice but nowadays I feel was the correct one.
